Patrick Derosier
“Taste is in realizing the essence of a place.” — Nancy Lancaster
About
Patrick Derosier was raised and educated in Massachusetts and has been shaped by the sensibilities of New England. He was inspired to become an architect upon inheriting his uncle’s drafting tools when he was seven. Patrick attended the College of Holy Cross, where he graduated with a degree in Art History, then earned a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Boston Architectural College. Patrick has been a fan of Antiques Roadshow since before it was cool and has scouted antiques from the Brimfield Fair to Les Puces de Clignancourt in Paris. He lives with his husband Michael Thomas Duffy in historic Carnegie Hill, where they survived a year-long renovation of their apartment, overseen & designed by Patrick. On weekends, he’s often found in Old Lyme, CT tending the garden of their lovingly restored 1928 artist’s cottage.
